Cape Cod Winter Rentals is a curated collective of winter estates listed by their owners. We collect only what is needed to connect renters with hosts and to administer the flat covenant fee. This policy describes what we gather, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name and email address when you register or sign in to list an estate.
• Listing details: the property information, descriptions, and images you provide when listing your home.
• Inquiry details: the name, email, dates, and message you submit when requesting winter dates for an estate.
• Payment information: the $49.99/year covenant fee is processed by our payment provider, Base44 Payments (powered by Wix). We do not store your card details — the provider handles all payment data securely.

How we use your information

• To publish and display listings you create, and to deliver inquiries from interested renters to you.
• To process the covenant fee and confirm your listing is active in the collective.
• To respond to your questions and provide support.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the service.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. Inquiries are shared between the renter who submits them and the host of the listed estate. Payment data is handled by Base44 Payments (Wix) under their own privacy practices. We may disclose information when required by law.

Your choices

• You may edit or remove listings you own at any time from your estate dashboard.
• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
• You may withdraw from marketing communications at any time.

Data retention

We retain listing and inquiry information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Payment records are retained as required for accounting and legal compliance.
